Mission

As members of the LGBTQIA+ community, we have always faced marginalization and systemic oppression in this country. From laws that seek to strip us of our humanity, to politicians who try to dictate what we do with our own bodies.

But we have always been here. And we will continue to be here. 

The proof is in the spirit of our ancestors, the eyes of our present community, the fire of our future leaders. 

And the proof that queerness endures, perseveres, can be found in the sacred spaces of our own hearts. The spaces that continue to beat, to bleed, to breathe, despite it all. The spaces that remind us everyday that our existence is resistance. 

We are facing a critical time in our lives where the next decades of the nation will be determined by elections at the local, state, and federal levels. In addition to voting responsibly and supporting local grassroots organizations, and no matter the results, we urge you to declare and affirm your existence, your place, your power as Divine and as Wholly Human.

Artist Statement

"Influenced by the scrutiny that many of us as LGBTQIA+ people experience, this 'Wholly Human' design is meant to perplex. It may require a slight change in perspective to decipher but also trust that it 's exactly what it's meant to be. Whether it be stares from people as their minds attempt to comprehend the divinity of our beauty, the frustrations that occur when they undertake the impossible task of boxing-in what transcends the idea of a simple shape, or the confusion that occurs when they continually fixate on our demise, yet continue to see us thrive. They will continue to squander their time and energy until they realize what we know to be true -- that we are Wholly Human." - The 2b.Creative Team
